  3. Agreeing with the comment from Jill West, Harry Hugh's paintings surely do hold the viewer! The uses of color grab my attention and the mastery of light hold my eyes to the work. I really like how Harry portrays the sheen of the wood flooring. Every painting cries out AUSTRALIA! Thanks for creating this blog Harry!

  4. The exhibition was a great success. There are a few paintings still for sale.
    This is Harry's first exhibition, and he is still learning, so the prices are low.
    Kitchen Bench $250
    Kitchen Window $200
    The Garden Room $300
    The Verandah $200
    And the etchings are each $90 unframed (Night Study is all sold, but there are prints left of each of the other etchings seen above.)
